Geshe Michael and Lama Christie founded Star in the East (SIE) with the 

intention to reinvigorate the Wisdom branch of Christianity. Inspired by new 

translations of the Gospels of Thomas and the New Testament, SIE teaches 

the principles of Karma and Emptiness to a Christian minded audience.  SIE 

workshops offer authentic training in Deep Prayer and Meditation to help 

people become more Christ-like beings and enter the Kingdom of Heaven. 

SIE is based in Tucson, Arizona and New York City.
